Beverley House

Beverley House is a 24-bedded rehabilitation hospital for women over the age of 18, situated in the heart of the community in Birmingham. Service users admitted to Beverley House may be informal or detained under the Mental Health Act with a primary diagnosis of Mental Health illness with complex needs.

Typically service users will be diagnosed with:

  • Schizophrenia and other mental health disorders
  • Personality Disorders

Service users may also present with:

  • Substance misuse
  • History of complex trauma or abuse
  • Eating disorders
  • Forensic background
  • Self harm and/or suicide risk
  • Violence or aggression
  • Mild learning or developmental disabilities

To support these highly specialist needs, we take a multi-disciplinary approach. We offer a high staff to service user ratio, bringing together a wide range of expertise including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Educators, Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.
